Lock & Co. is again honoured to have worked with the wonderful reception class pupils (ages four and five) and pre-school age children at Blakesley CE Primary School, Northamptonshire, for Brain Tumour Research’s Wear a Hat Day again this year, on Friday 28th March.
Each pupil learned from members of our team at Lock’s about the history of hats and how they are made, and then had the opportunity to design, make and trim their own hats, using their own imagination, ideas and inspiration!
A selection of the fabulous hand-made creations by the pupils of Blakesley CE Primary School are on display in the shop windows at Lock & Co., 6 St. James’s Street, London, from Monday 24th March until Monday 31st March.
On Wear a Hat Day, Lock & Co. seeks to raise much needed funds for the Brain Tumour Research charity. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.
