Ventnor
Cuenca Ultra-fino Panama

The Ventnor Cuenca Ultra-fine Panama hat can take up to six months to weave by hand in Montecristi, Ecuador.

Artisans use skills passed down for generations to create luxury Panama hats. Weavers of the finest toquilla palm straw work at night and in the earliest hours of the morning, when the temperature is cooler, and the humidity is highest.

This style comes with a complimentary hat box.

Care

Always handle your Panama hat by the brim to avoid distorting the crown.

Spot-clean using a damp cloth and leave to dry at room temperature. Or alternatively steam from a household kettle and a soft bristle hat brush or clean pencil rubber will help remove dust and dirt.

Avoid wearing a Panama hat in the rain. Dry with a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge if it gets wet.

Should your hat shrink in size, a hat jack can be used to stretch it back to its original shape.

Panama hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Be very gentle with this hat; Regular steams are highly recommended, bring your Lock Panama hat to us for a complimentary steam whilst you wait. We use a specialist steamer to refresh hats. This typically takes five minutes, depending on how busy our shop is.

Materials

The Cuenca is an extra-fine weave and has a silky texture, a natural golden colour, and is extremely lightweight. Complement your spring and summer attire with a Panama, finished with a brown band, that has all the signature features of Lock & Co.; quality, durability and craftsmanship.
