Care

Steam from a household kettle and a hard bristle hat brush to remove dust and dirt. Alternatively, use a soft nailbrush and a little soapy water.

Avoid wearing a straw hat in the rain. If it gets wet, dry using a clean, absorbent cloth or sponge. Should your hat shrink in size, a hat jack can be used to stretch it back to its original shape.

Straw hats are best stored in a hat box, away from direct sunlight.

Materials

Crafted from stiff sisal straw to retain its classic boater shape for years to come, this boater is finished with a smart black silk Petersham ribbon and features a leather inner sweatband so that it stays firmly in place.
